About the Journal

Journal of Social Sciences and Hospitality Industry (JSSHI) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access, multidisciplinary academic journal published by the Faculty of Hospitality Industry, Kasetsart University. The journal is dedicated to addressing contemporary challenges, human dynamics, and future trends across applied social sciences, hospitality, tourism, and service management. JSSHI seeks to explore and analyze all dimensions of the service economy and human mobility—both positive and negative—through comprehensive multi-perspective analyses, providing a broad platform for scholarly exchange.

The primary aim of the journal is to analyze and assess the effects of hospitality, tourism, and broader social dynamics on human populations and communities globally, regionally, and locally, past and present. Papers from any discipline within the social sciences and service sectors will be considered, provided they are well-argued and deepen theoretical, conceptual, empirical, or methodological understanding.
