Abstract

This academic article presents a model for developing innovator competencies through the concept of STEM-BCG learning management emphasizing the Design Thinking process for science student teachers. The objective is to provide a framework for preparing student teachers with skills aligned with competency-based education and national development goals. The model consists of four main components: 1) Foundation Context, utilizing the BCG Economy concept as a basis for problem-solving; 2) Learning Mechanism, driven by the five-step Design Thinking process integrated with STEM disciplines; 3) Individual Output, resulting in the development of six innovator competencies: observing skills, asking questions, creativity thinking, networking, experimenting, and leadership skills; and 4) Ultimate Outcome, leading to the development of an Innovator Teacher equipped with technological, social, educational, and learning competencies. The application of this learning model provides practical opportunities for students to systematically solve community problems, serving as a crucial foundation for effectively creating innovative instructional management at the school level.
