บทคัดย่อ

เนื้อสัตว์เป็นแหล่งโปรตีนที่สำคัญแต่มีแนวโน้มเน่าเสียได้ง่าย การพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีบรรจุภัณฑ์ที่ช่วยยืดอายุการเก็บรักษาจึงมีความสำคัญอย่างยิ่ง บทความนี้กล่าวถึงฟิล์มบรรจุภัณฑ์สมัยใหม่ที่มีบทบาทสำคัญต่ออุตสาหกรรมอาหาร ได้แก่ ฟิล์มบรรจุภัณฑ์อัจฉริยะ (Smart Packaging) ที่สามารถตรวจจับและแสดงข้อมูลความสดของเนื้อสัตว์ผ่านการเปลี่ยนสี ฟิล์มต้านจุลินทรีย์ (Antimicrobial Film) ที่ช่วยยับยั้งการเจริญเติบโตของเชื้อก่อโรค และฟิล์มบรรจุภัณฑ์ที่เป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม (Biodegradable & Edible Films) ซึ่งสามารถย่อยสลายได้ทางชีวภาพเพื่อลดปัญหาขยะพลาสติก เทคโนโลยีเหล่านี้ไม่เพียงช่วยถนอมคุณภาพของเนื้อสัตว์ให้สดได้นานขึ้น แต่ยังสอดคล้องกับแนวทางเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียนและความยั่งยืนของสิ่งแวดล้อม บทความนี้นำเสนอแนวโน้มของอุตสาหกรรมบรรจุภัณฑ์อาหารในอนาคต พร้อมทั้งแนวทางการพัฒนาที่สามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ได้จริงในระดับอุตสาหกรรม
