The Effects of Supervisor’s Leadership Styles on Subordinate’s Job Satisfaction and Work Performance: A Case Study of a Consumer Product Company in the Saha Group Industrial Park, Chon Buri

Abstract
The objective of this research was to analyze the effect of a supervisor’s leadership style on a subordinate’s job satisfaction and work performance. The sample used in this study was comprised of 361 employees of a consumer product company in the Saha Group Industrial Chon Buri Province. Convenience sampling was used for collecting the data. Data from questionnaires based on related concepts, theories, and research. The statistics used for data analysis are frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and path analysis. The results of this study revealed that supervisors with a country club leadership style had a positive influence on employee satisfaction in compensation, career opportunities, colleagues, and satisfaction with the supervisor, with statistical significance at the level of 0.05. The differences in leadership styles of supervisors affected the job satisfaction of employees in the different dimensions. The supervisor with a country club leadership style and the employee’s satisfaction with compensation affected the work performance of employees with statistical significance at the level of 0.05.
