Abstract

          This quantitative research aimed to study the technology readiness factors, which are   the optimism of technology, the innovative mindset, and the performance and effort expectancy affecting the intention to use teleconference technology of employees. The data collection was done by providing questionnaires to a total of 200 employees in the automotive industry located in Chon Buri who have used teleconference technology in their work. Structural equation modeling statistics were employed to analyze the data in order to provide an answer to the main research objective. The results of the study showed that the model fit with the data. The optimism of technology positively affects employees' effort expectations and efficiency expectations when using teleconferencing technology. Having an innovative mindset has a positive effect on employees' expectations of the efficiency of using teleconferencing technology. Expectations of effort and expectations of technology use efficiency have a positive effect on employees' intentions to use teleconferencing technology with statistical significance. The studied variables were able to explain 78.7% of the variance in intentions to use teleconferencing technology.
