Abstract

 

 

The research aimed to study 1) parents' expectations towards the management of Wiset Chai Chan Wittayakhom School and 2) school management approaches to meet parents' expectations towards the management of Wiset Chai Chan Wittayakhom School. The research population consisted of 147 parents of students, and the interviewees included 5 school directors and deputy directors, selected by purposive sampling. The research instruments were questionnaires and interviews.           The research aimed to study 1) parents' expectations towards the management of Wiset Chai Chan Wittayakhom School and 2) school management approaches to meet parents' expectations towards the management of Wiset Chai Chan Wittayakhom School. The research population consisted of  147 parents of students, and the interviewees included five school directors and deputy directors, selected by purposive sampling. The research instruments were questionnaires and interviews.  The research findings were as follows 1) Parents' expectations towards the management of Wiset Chai Chan Wittayakhom School, Sing Buri Ang Thong secondary educational service area office, were at  a high level overall and in individual aspects. These aspects were ranked from highest to lowest scholarships, buildings, and environment, while academic affairs, school personnel, and student affairs had equal average scores. 2) The school management approaches to meet parents' expectations are The school, the school board, the community, alums, and parents should jointly plan resource mobilization and budget planning for maintaining and improving school facilities. There should be clear guidelines for academic work and online tracking of student progress that parents can access regularly, and administrators, teachers, and staff should have good personalities and be role models for students. They should be aware of adhering to the teacher's professional ethics and good civil servant conduct. There should be meetings with teachers and staff to establish safety guidelines for the school and student conduct manuals. The school should promote training for teachers and students on reducing violence and enhancing safety in educational institutions.
