ความพร้อมในการจัดการเรียนการสอนออนไลน์ภายใต้สถานการณ์ระบาดไวรัส Covid-19|Readiness to Implement Online Learning Management under the Covid-19 Pandemics

Abstract

ภายใต้สถานการณ์ระบาดไวรัส Covid-19 ทำให้ทั่วโลกใช้มาตรการเพิ่มระยะห่างทางสังคม (Social Distancing) ซึ่งในประเทศไทยได้ใช้มาตรการปิดสถานที่รวมตัวทางสังคม ซึ่งรวมถึงโรงเรียนทุกแห่งในประเทศไทย เนื่องจากสถานการณ์ระบาดยังคงอยู่ ทำให้ระบบการศึกษาต้องปรับให้การเรียนรู้ของนักเรียนไม่ขาดช่วง (OECD, 2020) การเรียนการสอนออนไลน์จึงได้ถูกหยิบยกขึ้นมาเป็นทางเลือกหนึ่ง ซึ่งดูเหมาะสมกับสถานการณ์ปัจจุบันที่ทุกคนช่วยกันจำกัดพื้นที่อยู่ในที่พักอาศัย และด้วยระบบเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศร่วมกับเทคโนโลยีทางการศึกษาในปัจจุบัน ทำให้หลายฝ่ายเชื่อว่าการจัดการเรียนการสอนออนไลน์สามารถทำได้ เพื่อตอบคำถามนี้ คณะผู้วิจัยจึงได้ทำการสำรวจความคิดเห็นของครูในประเทศไทย ทุกกลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้ จำนวน 700 คน จากการสุ่มตามสะดวก ด้วย Google Form ผ่านเครือข่ายสังคมออนไลน์ ถึงความพร้อมในการจัดการเรียนการสอนออนไลน์ รวมถึงความต้องการสิ่งสนับสนุนจากโรงเรียนและรัฐบาลเพื่อให้สามารถจัดการเรียนการสอนออนไลน์ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ จากผลการสำรวจพบว่า ครูบางส่วนไม่พร้อมในการจัดการเรียนการสอนออนไลน์ และ ประเมินว่ามีนักเรียนจำนวนมากที่ไม่สามารถเข้าถึงระบบการเรียนการสอนออนไลน์ได้ (หากใช้จริง) พร้อมเรียกร้องความช่วยเหลือจากโรงเรียน และรัฐบาล ในการจัดอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการในการจัดการเรียนการสอนออนไลน์ อย่างเร่งด่วน รวมถึงการจัดหาอินเทอร์เน็ตความเร็วสูงและอุปกรณ์สื่อสารสำหรับนักเรียนทุกคน หากจำเป็นต้องจัดการเรียนการสอนออนไลน์เมื่อเปิดภาคเรียนในวันที่ 1 กรกฎาคม พ.ศ. 2563 นี้

Under Covid-19 pandemic, the world implements social distancing measure. Thailand also closes all social gathering places including schools. Because the pandemics has not been stopped, the education system need to adjust to avoid learning loss (OECD, 2020). Online learning and teaching have been selected due to the current situation that people stay at home and to the current ICT infrastructure and available educational technology. Many believes that online learning is feasible and possible. To answer this question, a survey had been conducted to collect opinion from 700 Thai teachers teaching all subjects around the country using convenience sampling. The Google Form survey was distributed through online social networks. The questions aim on readiness in online learning management and on the supports needed from their schools and from the government. The results show that a sizable portion of teachers are not ready to use online teaching and they estimate that many students cannot access the online learning system. They request that schools and the government provide them with workshop on how to manage online learning as soon as possible. Also, they request the government to provide all students with high-speed internet at home and device to use to access the online learning before the next semester July 1^st, 2020.
